Welcome to TheInnovatist!

The Innovatist exists to romanticise the everyday.

Through cinematic and innovative videography, storytelling creativity, self-discovery and authenticity, The Innovatist seeks to transform the mundane and overlooked into something worth remembering. To let life slip away is to put yourself at a disadvantage in terms of happiness. To be ‘Innovated’ is to celebrate freedom, individuality, messy growth and magnetic confidence. I, at the innovatist, explore the idea that life should be experienced first hand. It isn’t intended to be shaped through external observation or with a second-hand, societal lens.

‘Romanticise’ and ‘real’ tend to come across as oxymoronic. Romantic idealism is often interpreted as manufactured, performative and illusory. And though I am a big believer in faking it until you make it, true enjoyment and self-love can be achieved through a raw reality lens as well. At TheInnovatist, I am looking to challenge the idea that life is a ‘dead end cycle’ by teaching you how to fully squeeze every possible enjoyment out of the very reality you live in. True enjoyment comes from self-expression, not over-externalisation.

I believe that getting it wrong is the only real catalyst of authentic growth. But first, you have to eliminate social interference and societal standards. ‘TheInnovated’ way is built on the high energy of the late-night aspirational daydreams and the beauty in documentation and creative expression. The Innovatist encourages you to stop performing for other people’s expectations and start creating a life that feels beautiful to you and you alone. The goal within every moment is ‘simply be.’

The Innovatist is for the spontaneity inside you, the feelers, the do-ers and the people who want to overcome societal illusions and constraints. It is officially time to live for the day rather than living around it. Romanticised within a self-made reality. We are all on the way to a life that feels as vibrant as it looks.
